sculpture.
My first love is for the 3D form; built structures, interiors, architecture, and bespoke 3D displays. So I guess it won't surprise anyone that sculpture is a passion of mine.
This series of sculptures is an exploration of figures intersecting with the natural world. They are representative of a state of mind, somewhat calm, emptying of daily concerns, and blending with nature. The clarity and peace that comes with sitting with your thoughts in a forest.
Most of these sculptures have been carved in wax and cast in bronze with a black patina.
Bronze sculptures make incredibly durable pieces of art and can be placed in the garden.

painting.
This series of paintings explores the way emotions manifest in the mind — the fuzziness of overwhelm, the stillness of calm, the energetic spark of happiness.
Continuing my ongoing theme of nature’s intersection with humankind, I use leaves and flowers to symbolise different emotional states.
